24.05.2014:
To complete the successful Approaching Programming Contests practical during summer term 2014, seven student teams from Johannes Gutenberg University registered for the German Collegiate Programming Contest (GCPC) in May 2014. The aim was to qualify for the NWERC 2014 at the end of November in Linköping, Sweden. The two best teams, DaDaCoders und ALT (pictured) participated in this event after additional training. |
The two coaches Egor Dranischnikow und Sebastian Hoffmann took responsibility for the training of the 6 students. Once per week the team trained up to 5 hours and worked on exercises from previous contests. On Friday, 28th November 2014, they took off for the 4 day trip to Sweden.
